The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) of Columbia University seeks an exceptional faculty member of any rank in the tenure track. The position is open to researchers interested in developing and applying informatics theory and achieving tangible benefits to health care and biology. This is a non-tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor at CUMC. The candidate will oversee innovation in AI applied to medical education and clinical informatics. As a member of the department, the candidate will participate in its education mission including curricula development and mentoring as well as the clinical mission including leading and evaluating clinical informatics interventions. The candidate will mentor clinical informatics fellows and participate in the education activities of the department in the medical school and will lead clinical informatics activities that provide applied opportunities for mentoring trainees.
