GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:  The instructor is responsible for fostering student learning through effectively teaching coursework in the area of Accounting. A course load of 15 credit hours per semester is required. Teaching schedule will be assigned by the dean and may involve teaching at various Kirkwood locations in a variety of delivery formats including online, virtual, and face to face.  Position is not remote . Instructors may be asked to teach evenings and weekends. Instructor will be responsible to cover various introductory and advanced accounting topics and courses. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the instructor will be expected to contribute professional expertise through non-teaching activities to the department, program, and college. Description   The Division of Psychology and Counseling at Governors State University in University Park, IL, United States, invites candidates to apply for an on-campus Lecturer  position in our CACREP accredited Counseling program. This position will begin mid-August 2026. This is a full-time, twelve-month teaching position with typically three courses each term (Fall, Spring, and Summer) for a total of 27 credits a year.
