The Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) in the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2026. We seek applications with emphasis in the area of neural engineering including but not limited to neuromodulation and noninvasive therapeutics, neurorehabilitation, and smart/personalized neurotechnology. Candidates that meet these areas of interest should emphasize human/patient-based research, new methods for sensing or imaging, especially AI or data-driven approaches, and clinical collaboration and applications. Significant value is placed on research areas synergistic with the existing strengths in SBME.
