About the role
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated research-active academic to contribute to the supervision, teaching and administration of the PhD programme in Economics. This role is based in Weihai, China where students are taught in English and complete their University of Waikato degree.

Who are you?
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Economics, or a related discipline, be able to demonstrate experience in teaching to large and small groups of students for whom English is not their first language and have an established publication record. An understanding of China and its culture would be an advantage.
Senior Lecturer candidates are expected to demonstrate an internationally recognised research profile, including quality publications, supervision experience, and the ability to attract research funding.
