Assistant Professor, Tenure Track Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The person in this position will deliver content in the core pharmacotherapeutics sequence (as needed), case-based courses, and pharmacy skills courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum. All clinical specialties will be considered and are encouraged to apply. However, preference will be given to the candidates with a PGY2 in ambulatory care/community practice setting or those who have completed an academic pharmacy fellowship. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out scholarly activity leading to peer-review publications and service on departmental, school and university committees. A Pharm.D. with a PGY1 residency or equivalent practice experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with PGY2 or fellowship training.
