Augustana University (Sioux Falls, SD) invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin Fall 2026. A doctoral degree in Psychology is preferred by the start date.   Teaching:  We seek candidates who are passionate about excellent undergraduate teaching. The teaching load is 3 classes in Fall, 1 class in January term, and 3 classes in Spring. Candidates applying for this position should be able to teach undergraduate courses in General Psychology and Lifespan Human Development.  In addition, candidates for this position are invited to teach one or two elective classes in an area(s) of their specialization.   Research and Professional Development Support:  Research is not an expectation of this position, however there is research support available.
