Position Overview The Department of Neurobiology at the University of Utah (http://www.neuro.utah.edu/) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at any rank. We seek an innovative and collaborative scientist to lead a research program focused on the mechanisms underlying brain function or disease and to contribute to a supportive, inclusive academic community. Research Focus We welcome applicants across all areas of neuroscience. Research themes of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain function Developmental neurobiology Neurobiology of disease Brain aging Candidates using multidisciplinary approaches and advanced technologies—such as genomics, imaging, computational methods, or molecular tools—are especially encouraged to apply. However, outstanding candidates from any area of neuroscience will be considered.  

    NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGIST The Departments of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and Neurology at the University of Utah, John A. Moran Eye Center are actively seeking a neuro-ophthalmologist. This position will be primarily in clinical care delivery. Responsibilities also include medical student, resident and fellow teaching in the clinic. Duties will include Neuro-Ophthalmology, with ophthalmology or neurology to be determined by applicant training and preference. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Industry Liaison Office Job Summary The Director or Senior Manager of the Industry Liaison Office is responsible for supporting faculty in identifying, securing, and managing industry-sponsored research funding; leading and unifying industry-sponsored research and outreach activities; and specifically supporting industry interactions in the Price College of Engineering ( PCOE ). This position reports to the Chief Research Officer ( CRO ) and Vice Provost for Research Planning and Partnerships, Academic Affairs (AA). The selected candidate will be located in PCOE and spend roughly 85% of their time there, with a dotted-line report to the Dean of PCOE for day-to-day activities. The remaining 15% will support central coordination activities, including work with the Chief Innovation Officer within AA and other members of the Research Partnerships team.
