Job Summary
This position serves as an actor for nursing simulations. The Standardized Patient (SP) is a trained individual who portrays a patient or a patient’s family member to support student learning in the undergraduate nursing program’s simulations. SPs aid in the realism of simulations, allowing students to practice communication skills, practical skills, and assessment skills in a safe and controlled environment. This role may also involve providing structured feedback to learners and participating in simulation-based evaluations. Training will be provided.
