Job Summary
This position serves as a patient actor for nursing training simulations. The standardized participant (or student actor) portrays the role of a real patients and/or family members including signs and symptoms of disease, emotions etc. during simulation experiences for undergraduate nursing students. Standardized patients will have the opportunity to participate in feedback for students involved in simulation.
Essential Duties
Attend orientation and training.
Remain in good academic and professional standing to retain position.
Support application of standards-based nursing practice.
Maintain simulation lab environment for effective learning.
