Job Description
The Office of Accounting Services at Missouri Western State University (MoWest) is seeking applications for the position of Accountant (I, II or III depending on experience) as MoWest looks to improve its business processes for its new strategic plan. The Accountant will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial information. Their duties include preparing financial statements, performing bookkeeping, examining and analyzing the University’s accounts, and ensuring compliance with GASB financial reporting and generally accepted accounting principles ( GAAP ).
