Assistant Professor (Summa/Akron City - Geriatrics ) Position Type: Faculty Department: Pharmacy Practice Full or Part Time: Full Time Pay Grade: 2 Summary: This full time, shared faculty position will be co-funded by Summa Health System, Akron City Hospital and NEOMED . The faculty will spend 80% of their time at the hospital, with primary focus on establishing a viable Geriatrics practice and precepting pharmacy students (12 student months/year). Campus activities include workshop/lab facilitation, lecturing, admission interviews, committee service and student advising. Scholarship is an expected activity for all faculty in the college of pharmacy. Faculty will be expected to participate in structured on-campus faculty development programs.
