We are seeking an accomplished leader who has a strong understanding of and vision for engineering education. The position will be supported through the endowed Brock Chair in Engineering Pathways. Description The School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science (CEES) within the Gallogly College of Engineering (GCoE) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in   Architectural Engineering (ArchE) , with emphasis in building materials that advance our commitment to resilient and sustainable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on innovative building systems design using resilient and sustainable materials, particularly those that enhance the durability and adaptability of buildings under changing environmental conditions. Additional emphasis would be on polymers, composites, and coatings that reduce net energy usage and/or emissions throughout the lifecycle of buildings and other human-made structures—from construction through long-term operation.
