The College of Medicine’s ( CMED ) executive director for faculty and staff employment services is a highly visible executive/leadership role responsible for coordinating and facilitating faculty affairs and human resource activities for CMED in collaboration with CMU’s Human Resources and Faculty Personnel Services offices. The executive director provides leadership and guidance regarding faculty and staff human resource matters and faculty affairs within CMED to ensure adherence with evolving accrediting and licensing bodies, federal and state law where appropriate, and CMU policies and practices. The position is responsible for interpreting rules and regulations, often applying sound judgment without the benefit of specific policy or precedent.
