VISUAL MEDIA DESIGNER Position Number: S-3894 Position Summary:
The visual media designer is a storyteller with a creative mind, innovative ideas, enthusiasm and high energy. As part of the University Marketing and Communications visual media team, they will design high-impact visuals to help tell CMU’s story. This person has a deep curiosity to learn and stay current on the latest trends to communicate messages and successfully engage with multiple audiences in measurable ways. They will provide strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, superior technical design skills, and an understanding of how typography, color, photography, and animation support communication goals. This position is also responsible for designing innovative and successful campaigns across multiple mediums including print, web, mobile, etc.
