Culinary Assistant - Part Time, Grant Funded The Culinary Assistant of the FoodTEC Workforce Program is responsible for ensuring the Chef instructors have the food and equipment needed before each class. The Culinary Assistant receives or shops for food items; stores and maintains an inventory of food, equipment, and small wares. The Culinary Assistant assists the Chef Instructors and students during the class, which may include prepping, cutting, cooking, and sanitation. The Culinary Assistant maintains the overall sanitation standards of the FoodTEC commercial kitchen space, including the kitchen, equipment, appliances, and bathrooms. This position may require fluctuating work hours depending on project deadlines.
