We seek applicants who are broadly trained in neurobiology, including those who study basic cellular or physiological mechanisms within a neurobiological framework. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in Neurobiology and be able to contribute to our introductory general biology course sequences, in particular Biology 111: Unity & Diversity in Biology, or Biology 112: Biomolecular Foundations of Biology. Candidates will also be expected to teach other courses in their area of expertise. The teaching load is four courses per year in the first year, and five courses per year thereafter.
