Faculty in Pharmacology D’Youville University’s proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine seeking accreditation, located in Buffalo, NY, invites applications for a Full-time Faculty in Pharmacology. The selected candidate is responsible for delivery of all instruction in Pharmacology to osteopathic medical students, and compliance with requirements and policies of the proposed COM. The Faculty in Pharmacology will participate primarily in teaching osteopathic medical students, research and scholarly activity, and service to the university and greater community.   Summary: The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School’s pharmacotherapeutics course sequence both in the traditional and online pathways. Additionally, other course work may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of Pharmacy Practice. Furthermore, the faculty member will maintain a clinical practice in ambulatory care or internal medicine and act as a preceptor for the School’s students for both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences.
