This is a one-year appointment, renewable based on satisfactory performance, student enrollment, and the needs of the School of Music. Position Summary: The School of Music at the University of Puget Sound invites applications for the position of Affiliate Artist in Applied Oboe beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach weekly private applied lessons to undergraduate students majoring or minoring in music, as well as students majoring in other disciplines. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching 15 lessons per semester, participating in end-of-semester juries, and offering periodic studio classes or other activities that support the development of the oboe studio.
