Johnson County Community College Position, Department: Child Care Aide-Substitute, Operations Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week Pay Range: $15.34 Position Summary: Aid in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children when assigned to fill in for other staff members at the Hiersteiner Child Development Center (HCDC). Required Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma and 0-3 years of related experience.
Required certifications and pre-employment verifications: Active Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR, Health Assessment and TB Test, Child Development, Signs and Symptoms of Illness, Child Abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporting, Fingerprint Based Background Check. (HCDC will assist in obtaining required certifications within the first 30 days of employment)
