LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Position Number: S-3833 Position Summary:
This position works directly with Dr. Peter Dijkstra and his team to study behavioral decision making, social competition, and stress resilience in fish.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Previous experience in the performance of standard laboratory procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree. Reasonable knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in laboratory activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts physiological assays, including mitochondrial respiration, redox/oxidative stress measurements, and hormone analyses, ensuring high data quality and reproducibility.
