MESA Assistant Coordinator Primary Purpose: The Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) program is a statewide program that helps underserved and underrepresented students achieve success in STEM studies and careers. MESA at University of the Pacific supports university students primarily in the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SOECS) and 6th-12th grade students in Stockton and Lodi Unified School Districts and this number continues to grow each year. Since the inception of the Assistant Coordinator position, we have grown from 23 schools (35 advisors) to 30 schools (50 advisors). Assistant Director, Center for Teaching and Learning Primary Purpose: The Assistant Director reports to and works collaboratively with the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) to develop and lead teaching-related programs and initiatives; consult with faculty members and departments; contribute to a national dialogue about teaching and learning; and support faculty professional development on all three campuses. Essential Functions: Collaborates with the CTL director, faculty, and institutional partners in building vibrant, teaching-focused faculty communities across the three campuses of the University.
