Assistant Professor of Violin (TT) Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific announces a full-time tenure-track appointment for Assistant Professor of Violin. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher/performer whose background, professional performing accomplishments, and pedagogy will attract and retain students to the wide variety of program offerings at Pacific's Conservatory. The expectation is to develop and then sustain a studio of 16 music major violinists at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Excellent applied lesson teaching is the primary responsibility and is expected to constitute roughly 2/3rds of the teaching duties in early years.
