Pre-Clinical/Clinical Faculty - Pediatric Dentistry (Evergreen position) Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, invites applicants to apply for a part-time, teacher-clinician; 0.5 to 2 days per week, 40 weeks per year. The department is responsible for teaching pediatric dentistry at the pre-doctoral level. Teaching is done in a humanistic manner, such that students are enthusiastic about providing oral healthcare to children and inspired by the professionalism, expertise, and demeanor of the departmental faculty and staff. Additionally, the school's dental auxiliary utilization (DAU) program is part of the department, and is taught concurrently with pediatric dentistry both pre-clinically and in the pediatric clinic. Teaching Dental Assistant Mobile Clinic Primary Purpose: Under the general supervision of the PHCC Clinic Manager and Attending Dentist, this position assists faculty in all clinical aspects of patient care and treatment within both university and mobile dental clinic environments.
