Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education (tenure-track) Job Title: Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education (tenure-track) Department: School of Education Reports to: Dean, School of Education Effective Date: July 1, 2026 # of Direct Reports: 0 # of People Supported: 0 Job Description: The Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education will teach courses in the School of Education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including courses taught on campus, online, and/or hybrid formats. Primary teaching responsibilities with be in mathematics teaching methods. Applicants must be comfortable teaching mathematics methods courses at the adolescent (Grades 6-12 ) and childhood (Grades 1-6) levels and possibly mathematics methods in Early Childhood. Duties also include the development and dissemination of scholarly work, service to the department, school and university communities, and a commitment to professional growth.
