Associate or Full Professor of Classics Department of Classics Location: Amherst, MA Open Date: Jun 09, 2026 Description The Department of Classics at Amherst College invites applications for two positions-a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor of classics and a full-time tenured position at the rank of associate or full professor of classics. The appointment with tenure will be contingent upon a positive tenure review. Both positions will begin on July 1, 2027, and both require a Ph.D. in classics or a related field by the start of the appointment.
