Visiting Assistant Professor of Early Modern Art History (ca. 1400-1800) Position Summary: The Department of Art and Art History at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Early Modern Art History (ca. 1400-1800). The position is a two-year, non-tenure-track sabbatical/service replacement with a 4/4 teaching load, beginning in August 2026. All courses are offered in an in-person small classroom format and taught to an undergraduate population. Area of specialization is open, and especially welcome are applicants who can emphasize connections beyond one region. Opportunities exist for on-site teaching at the Rollins Museum of Art, which includes the Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art.
