  Description Governors State University is seeking to hire a Clinical Mental Health Counselor to provide comprehensive clinical services and outreach/educational programming to support the mental health and well-being of Governors State University's diverse student population. Using a brief/time-limited therapy model, the Counselor conducts diagnostic assessments; develops and implements treatment plans; and provides individual, couples, and group therapy for students presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, academic and interpersonal difficulties, and other mental health needs.
