Waste Technician/Project Custodian Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Waste Technician/Project Custodian is to collect and remove refuse throughout the campus. In their role as a Project Custodian, they are also responsible for providing custodial services for academic, administrative, and residential buildings, ensuring these facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Remove all refuse across campus from collection areas on a daily schedule
Clear chutes from residential halls
Empty trash dumpsters daily and wash and sanitizing of all dumpsters.
Remove all recycled materials from campus wide with separate vehicle and disposing of in designated recycled dumpsters for pick up by Waste Management
Coordinate yard waste pick up with grounds department leads daily
Wash, clean, and deodorize trash truck daily
Check oil, water, and tire pressure weekly
