Mechanic Group IV Primary Purpose: The Grounds Shop Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency of all the ground's equipment and golf carts. This position is responsible for performing regular maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and implementing repairs to ensure that all machinery is in optimal working condition. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong critical thinking skills, and a thorough understanding of various mechanical systems. Essential Functions:
Repair mowers, vehicles, electric carts, forklifts, backhoes, man lifts, scissor lifts and other related small engine grounds equipment including blowers, weed eaters, edger's, chainsaws, spray equipment, etc.
Operate the same, order repairs parts, supplies and new equipment.
Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
