Job Description
Missouri Western State University invites qualified candidates to apply for our Mechanical Technician to care for the MWSU campus buildings. Under the direction of the Mechanical Supervisor, the Mechanical Technician performs a variety of general maintenance and repairs to ensure all university mechanical systems remain in good physical condition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Use a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC , and related trades to preform work involving maintenance of all mechanical systems.
Repair and install plumbing fixtures
Operate a power drain opening cable machine
Use gasoline or diesel power equipment such as forklift, skid loader, dump trucks, zero turn mowers, weed eaters, and chainsaws to complete projects.
Assist with snow removal.
