The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor ( https://me.engin.umich.edu/ ) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer III position. This is a three-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal, beginning in the Winter 2027 semester or at a later mutually agreed time .
The department seeks an outstanding educator to teach core undergraduate courses in one of two focus areas: (1) statics, mechanics, and mechanics of materials (ME 211 and ME 382), or (2) thermodynamics and heat transfer (ME 235 and ME 335).
The Lecturer’s principal responsibilities will include:
