University of Puget Sound Visiting Assistant Professor - Chemistry - 2 years Job ID: 8587 Location: Chemistry Full/Part Time: Regular/Tempoary: Faculty Posting Details Appointment: The Chemistry department at the University of Puget Sound invites applications for a two-year full time Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin Fall term 2026. Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities for the positions will be primarily in introductory chemistry courses and labs. Teaching responsibilities for upper-level lectures and/or labs may be available, dependent on the candidate's expertise and department needs. This position involves teaching, on average, 3 units* per semester (Fall and Spring). Supervision of undergraduate research is encouraged. The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department has excellent instrumentation and resources and the University has an active summer research program to fund undergraduate students doing summer research.
