Financial Aid Counselor Position Summary: The Rollins College Financial Aid Department is seeking a service-oriented Financial Aid Counselor to join their team. Primary Responsibilities
Counsels, advises, and awards students and families about financial aid eligibility, application procedures, aid programs, costs, indebtedness, and many other questions.
Determines breadth and depth of special circumstances within the guidance provided in the federal regulations.
Use significant amount of discretion in determining award increases, dependency overrides, and satisfactory academic appeal decisions.
Implements financial aid communication strategies and campaigns to support student recruitment and retention.
Meets with parents and students to discuss financial aid awards.
