Department of Operations, Information and Decisions The Wharton School UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA The Operations, Information and Decisions Department of the Wharton School is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the areas of information systems or operations management. Our faculty is comprised of scholars with a diverse set of backgrounds and interests, and we encourage applicants with degrees in a business discipline, social sciences, engineering, AI, or computational social science, among others. Demonstrated ability or potential for high quality research and teaching are important. Applicants must have a Ph.D. (expected completion by June 30, 2027 is acceptable) from an accredited institution. The appointment is expected to begin July 1, 2026.
