Job Description
The Blackwood Department of Real Estate within the R. B. Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor of Real Estate who will hold the Blackwood Endowed Chair. This is an exciting opportunity for an established scholar to join a growing department interested in expanding its research, teaching, and service capacity while continuing to build its international reputation. The position is a tenured, academic-year appointment beginning August 10, 2027. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research regularly leading to publications in top-tier academic journals such as Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, and Real Estate Economics.
