ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC TRAINER Position Number: S-3859 Position Summary:
The Associate Athletic Trainer is a certified and licensed healthcare professional responsible for delivering comprehensive athletic training services to Central Michigan University ( CMU ) intercollegiate student-athletes. This position plays an integral role within the Sports Medicine team and reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution. Three years of full-time experience as a certified athletic trainer. Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification ( NATABOC ). Current licensure, as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Michigan, or eligibility for licensure upon hire. Current CPR / AED certification for the healthcare provider or equivalent.
