POSITION TITLE: ATHLETIC TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Athletic Training Required. • Valid Texas Athletic Training License • Familiarity with NAIA governing rules and a strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept. • Current certification as an Athletic Trainer, issued by the National Board of Certification (BOC) • CPR Healthcare/BLS Certification • One (1) years’ experience in a traditional setting • Possesses a driver’s license and the ability to travel. • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check. • Experience with intercollegiate preferred. • Good communication, administrative, time management and interpersonal skills • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, Word and Excel • Familiarity with electronic medical record keeping • Working knowledge of HIPAA requirement.
