JOB TITLE Athletic Trainer LOCATION Worcester DEPARTMENT NAME Physical Education, Recreation & Athletics - PERA DIVISION NAME Worcester Polytechnic Institute - WPI JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Athletic Trainer assists the Head Athletic Trainer/Athletics Health Care Administrator (HAT/AHCA) in all aspects of the athletic training and athletic health care functions for varsity athletics. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the day-to-day athletic training and athletics health care program for 18 varsity sports with over 650 student-athletes, assisting with professional and administrative services essential for the successful implementation and development of the athletic health care program, and assisting in monitoring the athletic department's health and safety practices to ensure compliance with WPI risk management and NCAA Division III legislation.
