Academic and Career Advisor Job Description Summary: Provides academic and career advising, evaluates academic records, and provides other academic support services to traditional undergraduates/advisors/staff/faculty. The incumbent will thus work as part of the advising team to provide general and major-specific academic advisement as well as career counseling on topics of career readiness, resume development, job search skills, etc. Furthermore, the academic and career advisor will provides academic support and workshops to students, faculty, and staff. Minimum Qualifications: Computer Skills. Microsoft Office Suite. Interpersonal Skills. Strong Written & Verbal Skills. Earned Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Counseling, Business, Education, or Liberal Arts.
