The Department of English
The USF Department of English is a multi-campus department that offers degree programs on the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee campuses. The department offer a BA degree in Professional and Technical Communication and a BA in English with a concentration in Literary
Studies on all three campuses. In addition, the Tampa campus offers a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and MFA in Creative Writing; an MA and PhD in Rhetoric and Composition; and an MA and PhD in Literature. The English Department has approximately 40 tenure-line faculty members,15 full-time instructors, 100 graduate students, and 600 majors.
