Associate Research Scientist, Catalysis Core Director

  The Department of Chemistry at Yale is seeking a PhD-level scientist to serve as the Director of its Catalysis and Separations Core. The Core contains a variety of instrumentation to support research in synthetic chemistry at Yale, with an emphasis on homogeneous catalysis. Some of the equipment currently in the Core includes instrumentation for UPLC, LC, LCMS, SFC, and GC, an EasyMax for parallel reactions, solid and liquid chemical dispensing for performing high throughput experimentation, and a parallel high-pressure reactor. The Director of the Core will be appointed as an Associate Research Scientist and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Core instrumentation and in assisting early career researchers with performing experiments in the Core. They will also be responsible for the Core budget and charging user fees. Collapse Description
