 The Department’s teaching and research activities cover a broad spectrum of environmental and occupational health, including risk analysis, toxicology, environmental epidemiology, global environmental health, occupational hygiene and occupational safety. In addition to offering graduate and post-graduate training in public health, including environmental and occupational health, the ESPUM also offers a Bachelor’s degree in environmental public health and occupational safety.

  The School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal (ESPUM) is the only French-speaking school in the world and the only one in Canada to be honoured by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Each year, the ESPUM attracts around 1,500 students engaged in improving population health through the training, creation and application of knowledge in all areas of public health. Our professors are active in research and knowledge transfer, and participate in training programs for researchers, practitioners and professionals. The teaching and research activities of the Department of Environmental Health and Occupational Health cover a wide spectrum, including risk analysis, toxicology, environmental epidemiology, global environmental health, occupational hygiene, and occupational safety.
