The Department has research strengths in diverse areas including computer modeling/simulation, infectious disease, metabolomics, drug development, signal transduction and molecular microbiology.
Virginia Tech provides excellent core services including mass spectrometry, genomics (both short- and long-read platforms) and Advanced Research Computing.
