The College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community through increasing the number of historically underrepresented students in the college and recruiting and retaining diverse faculty and staff. We are home to more than 4,600 talented undergraduate and graduate students, with 35.9% Hispanic and 1.5% Black or African American students. Each year we award approximately 1,080 undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and the computer sciences. All five undergraduate programs in the College are ABET accredited. US News & World Report ranks ECS as one of the “Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs” at schools where a doctorate is not offered.
