Ohio University, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

Since our founding in 1975, the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has become a leader in providing a patient-centered, clinically integrated medical education continuum, from pre-medical education to undergraduate medical education, and on through residency training, with an emphasis on primary care. With the opening of campuses, made possible in part by a $105 million gift from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations, the Heritage College now has three Ohio locations: Athens, Dublin and Cleveland. Each campus provides a unique environment, but they are all connected by a shared learning experience. We promote a culture of collaboration to foster a forward-thinking approach to medical education, research and engagement with underserved populations. Our students and faculty benefit from the college’s use of advanced technology, modern classrooms and lab space, partnerships with respected medical institutions, and enriching community health programs.
