Assistant Dean Brief Description of Duties: The Assistant Dean for the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (SoMAS) under the general supervision of the Dean is responsible for financial management and planning, resource allocation, workforce management, staff development, and general School administration. The Assistant Dean will provide creative proposals and/or solutions to foster the SoMAS mission and address its challenges and strategic planning goals and objectives. The Assistant Dean conducts financial planning and analysis, and assists with development of business plans for the school.
