The USC Department of Biological Sciences is home to a number of distinguished faculty and staff. Our faculty includes members of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine; winners of the USC Associates Award; and the 2013 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, among many other groundbreaking figures in the scientific community. Our emphasis on interdisciplinary and collaborative research allows both faculty and student researchers to generate relevant and innovative work that promises to carry an impact far beyond the world of the sciences.
