Located in historic Charleston, S.C., The Citadel offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the humanities, business, mathematics, science, engineering and education. With an enrollment of more than 2300, the Corps of Cadets is the nation's largest military college program outside the service academies. All cadets are educated within a classic military system and about 30 percent of the graduating seniors earn military commissions. The remaining graduates attend graduate school or enter the job market. The Citadel Graduate College, which is noted for Citadel excellence in a civilian environment, serves residents of South Carolina's beautiful Lowcountry and includes our evening undergraduate engineering programs and a variety of evening graduate level engineering programs. Academic programs at the college are complemented by a strong commitment to service and emphatic support of an honor code that calls upon cadets and students to not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do. Since its founding in 1842, The Citadel's emphasis on character as well as intellect has produced generations of graduates who have served their nation, their professions and their communities with distinction.
