The Department of Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology (CMMB) within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida, one of only three preeminent Florida Universities, is seeking applications for multiple 9-month appointment tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The positions begin no earlier than August 2020. Broad areas of strength in our department include basic and translational research in bacterial pathogenesis, genome integrity, stress response, cellular signaling, structural and computational biology, as well as lipid signaling and lipidomics. The department offers outstanding laboratory space, as well as a competitive salary and start-up package for the successful candidates. Opportunities for collaboration exist across the USF campus, including the USF Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, and Engineering, the H.
