About the Aerospace Engineering Department

The Department of Aerospace Engineering is nationally recognized for its research and teaching. The department has an ABET-accredited undergraduate program in aerospace engineering and graduate programs offering MEng, MS, and PhD degrees in both aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics. The department comprises 20 full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty, 12 non-tenure eligible teaching and research faculty, 15 staff members, and approximately 1000 undergraduate and 90 graduate students.
